The Lion King’s Toronto Sit-Down Production Update – New Simba
The new production of Disney’s The Lion King Musical begins at the Princess of Wales Theatre on November 02, 2024. According to Mirvish Productions, The Toronto production of “The Lion King” has appointed a regent after the actor playing Simba was injured.
The company says the production’s star who plays Simba, Aphiwe Nyezi, will need at least six weeks to recover from an undisclosed injury. But the show will go on as per the schedule because they were able to borrow the lead actor, Erick D. Patrick from Lion King’s North American tour.
