The Lion King Return to Los Angeles – November 20, 2013 to January 12, 2014
Disney’s The Lion King, the highest-grossing show in Broadway history, will return to Los Angeles, CA for a very special eight-week holiday engagement from November 20, 2013 to January 12, 2014.
This is the production’s first return to the Pantages Theatre in seven years since its eight-week sold-out engagement in 2006 and second return overall since its highly successful L.A. Premiere in 2000.

Lion King Will Return to Pittsburgh’s Benedum Center 2013-14 Season
The Tony Award-winning Broadway sensation Lion King returns to the Benedum Center stage. Disney’s The Lion King will return to Pittsburgh for a four-week run in September 2013 at the Benedum Center as a part of the PNC Broadway Across America – Pittsburgh. Lion King set to Perform at the Benedum Center from September 03 to September 29, 2013.
Single tickets for “The Lion King” will go on sale to the general public on May 6. The engagement opens PNC’s Broadway Across America 2013-14 season.
The Benedum Center for the Performing Arts, a Pittsburgh Cultural Trust theater, is a focal point of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District with 2,800 seats. The Lion King musical had previous runs in Pittsburgh in 2004 and 2008. Lion King’s 2008 engagement in Pittsburgh was record-breaking.

The Lion King will return to San Francisco next month November 01, 2012. Casting has been announced for the San Francisco return engagement of Disney’s THE LION KING. Lion King Musical will leap on to the Orpheum Theatre – San Francisco stage from Thursday, November 1, 2012 to Sunday, January 13, 2013. The Lion King return engagement is for the first time since its triumphant 43-week run at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in 2004.
Lion King San Francisco CA Cast Update: The production features Derek Smith as “Scar”, Dionne Randolph as “Mufasa”, Buyi Zama as “Rafiki”, Mark David Kaplan as “Zazu”, Ben Lipitz as “Pumbaa”, Nick Cordileone as “Timon”, Jelani Remy as “Simba”, Syndee Winters as “Nala”, Keith Bennett as “Banzai”, Rashada Dawan as “Shenzi” and Robbie Swift as “Ed.” The role of “Young Simba” is alternated between Zavion J. Hill and Adante Power and the role of “Young Nala” is alternated between Sade Phillip-Demorcy and Kailah McFadden.
