Lion King Stage Set at Rochester Auditorium Theatre – Video
The Lion King will be in Rochester for four-and-a-half weeks from March 22 to April 17, 2011. Rochester Broadway Theater League President and CEO Don Jeffries said the community will benefit from the performances.
Scenery and set equipment was moved into the theatre on Friday. Crews are setting the stage for the Lion King at Rochester’s Auditorium Theatre.

“One-third of the tickets we sell for ‘The Lion King” are outside the five-county area,” Jeffries said. “That means people are using hotels, restaurants, paying babysitters, parking. We figure it’s a ten million dollar economic impact to our community”
