The Lion King Returning to San Antonio During Holiday Season 2014 – December 10, 2014 to January 04, 2015
The Lion King will make its third run in San Antonio, this time during holiday season 2014 almost for a month of performances from December 10, 2014 to January 04, 2015 at Majestic Theatre (208 East Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78205).
The musical adaptation of the 1994 Disney movie follows a young lion who has to grow up fast after his father, the leader of the pride, dies in a suspicious stampede. The score includes “Circle of Life,” “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” and “Hakuna Matata.”

Since debuting on Broadway in 1997, the Lion King Musical has become one of the most celebrated and loved musicals of all time. It is already the fifth longest running show in Broadway’s history.
