The Lion King to begin an extended run at Toronto’s Princess of Wales Theatre November 2, 2024
Disney’s The Lion King Broadway musical roaring back to Toronto in 2024 for an extended run. Lion King musical will be performing at Princess of Wales Theater in 300 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5V 1J2. Lion King musical will stay for open-ended run rather than passing through on tour.
The Lion King musical was last in Toronto in 2019 and was with COVID-19 shutdowns till now. The open-ended David Mirvish presentation will begin performances at the Princess of Wales Theatre on November 2, 2024.
The Lion King can currently be seen on Broadway; London’s West End; Paris; Hamburg; Tokyo; Madrid; Sao Paulo and on tour across North America and the U.K. and Ireland for a total of nine productions running concurrently around the globe. Having played over 100 cities in 24 countries on every continent except Antarctica, The Lion King’s worldwide gross exceeds that of any film, Broadway show, or other entertainment title in box office history.
