Lion King North American Tour Omaha Nebraska Schedule – February 29 to March 24, 2024
Disney’s The Lion King Musical North American returning to Omaha Nebraska in February 2024 as a part of Omaha Performing Arts 2023-24 Broadway series. The Lion King Orpheum Theatre Omaha performances will start on February 29 and continue through March 24, 2024.
Lion King musical, is almost like the film, follows the arc of the young lion, Simba, whose wise, ruling father, Mufasa is killed by the nefarious Uncle Scar. Scar and his band of hyena followers take over the lands of Pride Rock. Based on the 1994 Disney animated film, this blockbuster opened on Broadway in October 1997 and is still playing. In its 15th year, The Lion King recently became the highest-grossing Broadway show in history.
