The Lion King Opens at The Music Hall At Fair Park on Wednesday, October 2 and continue through Sunday, October 20, 2013. Casting has been announced for the Dallas engagement. Lion King returns to Dallas following a six-week sold-out premiere engagement in 2002 and a successful five-week engagement in 2007 at the Music Hall.

The Lion King Musical on Broadway Again climbed to 1st position. Lion King Broadway musical grossed $1,710,914 and had an attendance rate of 99.9%, about 0.9% more than that of the previous week. Lion King was slided to 2nd position last week with the Book of Mormon climbed to the top of the list. Lion King reigns this week. The 26 shows on the boards grossed $19,453,422, slipping around 0.23% from the previous week’s totals.
